Eligibility

Eligible Areas

To be eligible for a grant, your permanent/home address must be in the former parish of Whittington, (this includes New Whittington, Old Whittington, Sheepbridge, the east side of Whittington Moor and the Brushes).

The former parish boundary falls within the following post codes and areas:

  • part of S41 8** to the east of Sheffield Road/B6057, Whittington Moor,
  • part of S41 9** to the east of Rivers Drone and Whitting, The Brushes and Sheepbridge and north of Albert Street North, Whittington Moor, and
  • part of S43 2** to the west of Slag Lane, Parkgate Lane and the eastern extent of New Whittington.

Eligible Students

You must be studying a full-time course in the sixth form, at college or university, which lasts at least one academic year and be no more than 19 years old at the time of your application.

You may only apply ONCE for this grant.

Your application will only be considered if:

  • your application is signed by your tutor AFTER you have started your course,
  • you give us your permission to check with your school, college, or university that you have taken up your place, and
  • you have provided all the information requested on the application form (all the boxes are correctly filled in).

Grant Application Form

The grant application form for 2025 is being hosted on Google Forms this year, and it is hoped that this will make it clearer and simpler to complete. The form can be accessed via this link: Grant Application Form 2025

If you are unable to complete the grant application form online, or prefer to complete a paper copy, you may download a blank PDF version, which can then be printed off and completed by hand. But if you do opt to complete a paper copy rather than complete the form online, please also email us your details so that we can include you on our list of applicants, since completion and submission of the online form automatically updates our spreadsheet record of applicants. We don’t want applicants submitting paper copies to be missed off the list. Please email your details to webstercharity@gmail.com
